Faith is not Fragile
Living by faith means trusting in what we cannot see. It means holding on to promises in the midst of pain. Faith requires that we reach beyond what we see and know, into an unending realm that we cannot fully fathom.
Faith is strong, for it is anchored in the eternal. Yet faith feels fragile, unreasonable, risky, and at times bizarre. When all around us speaks one thing, we believe another. When doctors diagnose, bank balances reveal, and well-meaning people advise, faith sees beyond. It believes in a God who will not fail. It holds to a hope it refuses to abandon; it trusts in a promise it declares to be sure. Faith knows Who it has believed, and faith knows that He is faithful.
