Put on Strength
Strength is not something we find. It is something we put on. We already have it because as believers we are strengthened with might by the Holy Spirit in our inner man (Ephesians 3:16). This strength however is in our inner man. It is not in our thoughts, nor our bodies, nor in our dreams. That is why strength is something we must put on. We need to reach inside and by faith, take the strength that the Holy Spirit imparts to us, and place it over our mind and around our emotions. We let it speak to our future and our needs. We allow it to call out our desires and our gifts. Strength will do that. It will speak to what God has placed within us and call it forth to flow and to minister.
Often the one thing that we lack is strength. We have the desire, we have the gifts, the promises, the dreams, but we lack the strength to follow through and to step out of the boat and walk on water (Matthew 14:29).
Strength when displayed, is often called confidence or boldness. It is what the disciples had when they were placed on trial (Acts 4:13). It came from Jesus - from walking with Him and praying to Him. It was this strength that turned fearful men into those who changed the world. The strength of a world changer already dwells within you. All you have to do is put it on.
