Carry Me Away

Carry me away to the place where You live, to that place where I share the intimacies of knowing Your love. I draw near and call for You, but I cannot go where I long to go. I must wait in Your presence, until You carry me into moments of encounter with You.

There in the Secret Place, I meet the One I was made to love. There I receive Your embrace and the sweetness of Your love. This is the house of wine. This is the river of pleasure. This is the place of joy and fulfilment that is at Your right hand.

Carry me there. Let me know the depths of Your heart as You draw me to Yourself, as You overwhelm me with the splendour of who You are.
