Sacred Time

Time is viewed by most as an enemy to contend with. It demands action, ages lives, and relentlessly rolls forward at a seemingly increasing pace. Your efforts to fight it, deny it, or even avoid it are futile.

It was made to give men certainty, not an adversary. Every sunrise brings the hope of a new day. Each week of work brings the joy of rest, and seasons bring the delight of predictable change.

The most important of all, however, is sacred time. It is the time that you take and dedicate as an offering to Me. It may be the early morning devotion, the moments of prayer, times of contemplation, or meetings where you go to worship and listen. All the times you set aside to engage with a realm that is outside of time, conditions you and prepares you. Heaven is your home. Eternity will be your reality. Every sacred moment with Me, is a glimpse of the eternal. It has no pressure as it brings no demands, for the essence of life is found in Me.

Enjoy these sacred moments with Me. Let My presence, lift the burdens, and lighten the load. Let the release from time, enable you to meet its demands. As a swimmer lifts their head to receive the air needed to keep swimming, so lift your heart and receive in these sacred moments all that you need to propel you forward.
